Applications are invited in prescribed pro forma for the following posts under the projects mentioned along with the post, detailed qualification and pay etc. of the posts are given below:
Post 1 : Research AssociateProject : “Functional significance of Potyviral Hc-Pro interaction with host and vector factors” DST funded Indo-Spanish bilateral programme (PI- Dr. Shelly Praveen)
No of post : One
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. degree or M.Sc. with three years research experience in Biochemistry/Plant Pathology / Biotechnology or a related field.
Job requirement : Job requirement include study of the interaction of viral RNAi suppressor protein Hc-Pro and proteins involved in plants’ RNAi machinery with the overall goal to establish the host – viral interaction. Research will include Cloning, mutation work, protein and gene expression and bioinformatics analysis. Host-viral interaction studies include yeast two hybrid system, YFP and GFP vector based techniques.
Desirable :i) Publications in the desired field of research
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.
Pay : Rs 22,000/-P.M. (Consolidated) + HRA as admissible
Post 2 : SRFProject : “RNAi and other cutting edghe technological intervention to develop insect pests, diseases and virus tolerant tomato hybrids for Indian and International market.” BIPP, DBT (PI- Dr. Shelly Praveen) 
No of post : One
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Plant Pathology.
Job requirement : Job requirement include standardization of protocol for transmission of Tospo & Gemini viruses and screening of transgenic tomato lines for resistance
Desirable : i) Two to three years experience in the relevant field with proven published record.
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research
Pay : Rs 14,000/-P.M. (Consolidated) + HRA as admissible
